Head Chef Ali Qaabidh's menu offerings are a mix of hearty southern recipes and flavorful international cuisine, the latter of which was the staple of Ali's diet growing up on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. His cooking style is correspondingly unique - featuring skills honed in the top steakhouses in North Carolina and a big-city flair arising from Ali's New York City roots. Ali uses only ingredients of top quality because he insists on simplicity and healthiness; he refuses to overwhelm his food with superfluous ingredients or overload his customer with unnecessary calories. FOUNDER AND HEAD CHEF
Born and raised on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York, Founder and Head Chef Ali Qaabidh relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina to be closer to his sisters and brothers, each of whom had moved to Raleigh at some point in the early 2000's on account of careers, kids - and warmer weather! Ali's sister, Zainab Qaabidh is the founder and principal of Al Huda Academy. Ali is the proud father of three growing boys, Zayd (age 7), Sahil (6) and Akil (2 months).

Founded in 2015, Emma Rose Kitchen, LLC has grown from a single-meal delivery company serving less than 10 people a week to a full-service catering company providing event meals each day for the largest professional organizations in Raleigh.
